Maricopa courses are classified Academic or Occupational. Courses that are approved to offer for dual enrollment credit are listed in the MCCCD Dual Enrollment Course Catalog. Here are the minimum requirements to become a Dual Enrollment teacher in academic and occupational courses at Maricopa Community Colleges.

Dual Enrollment teachers in the academic disciplines at Maricopa Community Colleges must have a master’s degree in the content area or a master’s degree in any area with 18 credit hours of graduate-level courses in the area they plan to teach.
