The Saint Paul Public Library does not have birth or death certificates in its collection.

To obtain copies of death certificates, contact:

• Birth and death records from 1870 to present (approximately) for Ramsey County
• Death records from 1997 to present for the entire state of Minnesota

• Copies of birth certificates and cards, 1900-1934 (some pre-1900 records are also available)
• Copies of death certificates and cards, 1904-2001

If a date of death or birth is unknown, determine a date with:

• Deaths Recorded in St. Paul, Minnesota City Directories, 1888-1910
• People Records Search - Minnesota Historical Society (death records 1904-2001; birth records 1900-1934)
